G7 meeting in Rome – Japan’s Minister of Finance Drunk?
Japan’s Minister of Finance, Shoichi Nakagawa, has blamed a heavy dose of cold medicine for a slurred and baffling performance at the G7 meeting in Rome, where the helmsman of the worlds second biggest economy appeared to be incapably drunk.
Mr Nakagawa claimed to have taken only a few sips of wine no more than a glassful ahead of the news conference, but he seemed too addled to state correctly the current level of Japanese interest rates.
Upon his return to Japan today the Finance Minister was greeted with immediate calls for his resignation by opposition MPs, who said the affair was an embarrassment to the country, and a shame that sent a message to the whole world.
Yukio Hatoyama, Secretary-General of the main opposition Democratic Party, said: I think he should be fired immediately. He’s damaged the national interest.

Fair Auctions
A less-than-common affair in fairs around the country are auctions.
Auctions are just that, the usual bidding and all that stuff. You could go for a dramatic auction, or you could go for a simple one. The main theme is players bid to buy something at prices that escalate by the minute, depending on how far the buyer’s budget can stretch.
There are a lot of common things to auction, with the theme stretching from the common (antiques, ornamental, land deeds) to the weird and far-off (service, a date, probably something unexpected). Just make sure to present at least ten things.
Ten items that would seriously pique the interest of any market out there in the fair. Auctions should not be limited to one group or one market.
Auctions by far, would cost the same as setting up a booth, albeit you’ll need to spend a hefty sum to use for advertising.
There are a lot of preparations needed to pull off a successful auction. Go with fliers, banner and posters to catch attention. Set the booth or the stage up earlier than expected to keep people excited.
You could contract food stands and vendors to position themselves closer to your site so they could earn more audience, and you can retain your own. This would put both parties in favorable positions.
Prepare the things you’ll need. Things like signs, the stand, a table for the item (if it’s too big or heavy) and the sound equipment and all that stuff. Prepare if it rains if the fair is located outside.
Auctions can rake you lots or little of money depending on the profitability and rarity of the item. You might win big or lose big with a rare baseball card, but then you could get away with an antique novelty lava lamp. Be prepared to face these types of situations early on.
Learn from your auctions thereafter. Learn strategies how to rile up people into bidding more, and bring the situation up a notch more. The intensity can carry away most people into spending more before they realize what they are doing.

Web 2.0 Design Tips
Chances are that you have heard the old adage, “You shouldn’t judge a book by the cover?” I’m sure that you have. Well forget about it, because everyone on the Internet is quick to pass judgment. You will only have one chance to win your visitors over.
After reading my Web 2.0 quick tips to successful web design you will have visitors willing to walk over broken glass to visit your website. Sit back Relax And prepare for the best web design tips on the planet. Let’s begin!
Web 2.0 User Friendly Navigation This point is the main failing point of most web designers. Sincerely ask yourself how many times have you went to a website and didn’t have a clue how to find what you were looking for. Web surfers want everything right now. They don’t want to wait let alone having to hunt for your navigation links.
A clean Web 2.0 layout with laser precise navigation will without a doubt enhances the users experience thus leading to a happy end user and higher return visitors to your web site. Unless you are an experienced web designer I highly recommend that you use pre-design graphics.
I have been professionally designing web sites for well over eight years. Until this day I still use pre-designed web graphics. What use to take me hours to achieve I can now do in minutes.
Speaking of designs here’s another little design tip from my bag of tricks. If your website consists of a ton of links you should consider using a drop down menu. Personally I am not a fan of using drop down menus because the code that is needed to produce the menus makes SEO a nightmare.
Optimize Your Load Time How fast your web site loads up is extremely important. I’m not sure what the millions of people are doing on the Internet in their personal lives. I do however know that they seem to always be in a hurry. If you are using tracking information such as “Google Analytics” you are able to see your bounce rate. A bounce rate is the rate at which people are leaving your web site. If you are selling a product, a high bounce rate is bad. If you are running an Adsense site a high bounce rate is good.
No user wants to sit there and wait for slow graphics to load up on a page. The reason being is that they don’t have to. There are hundreds if not thousands of other web sites competing for the same visitor that you are. One way that you can speed up your pages load time is to minimize your pages graphics, flash and scripts. These things increase your file size thus slowing down your pages load time.
Web 2.0 Images Are A Must It is virtually impossible for you not to have heard the term Web 2.0. It is all of the rage now days. It is also the future of web design and all Internet interactions. Web 2.0 images are images that are well designed and well optimized, and will allow you to increase your web design time by 90%.
WARNING Be aware of fraudulent Web 2.0 libraries that people are selling. Unfortunately there is no way of telling if the product is truly Web 2.0 designed or not until you have made the purchase. By this time you will have lost your hard earned cash with no hopes of ever seeing it again.

Fox Business: Gerald Celente Predicts Revolution
I was shocked that Fox would air such a segment.
They mentioned that before 2012:
1. America will be the first undeveloped country
2. Revolution, food shortages, riots, marches
3. Food instead of gifts for Christmas
Seriously, I was shocked. The segment lasted for more than 6 minutes. He said things like parents shouldn’t send their kids to get business degrees or psychology degrees and send them to community colleges to learn a real skill. He kept implying that food will become the most important thing for us. He said the retail industry will die off completely but local markets will thrive.
The host even introduced him as a guy who’s “predictions always come true”. He has been remarkably accurate over the decades.
